We invite you to join us for our Youth Night, held on one Friday a month, where young people can come together for fun, community, and personal growth. Additionally, our new after-school program will offer a supportive environment that focuses on life skills, social-emotional learning, and academic success. Join us as we empower the next generation to thrive.

During April through June, we were able to employ 5 teenagers to serve as employees for our Monthly Food Ministry.
By providing paid opportunities, the program gave youth early work experience while contributing to a program that directly serves their community.
These youth developed responsibility, time management,t and effective communication skills. In addition, they learned the importance of serving their community.
All 5 youth participated in a state-approved Food Safety Course and received a certificate.

In April 2025, GCCTC youth leaders received a mini-grant from the Dorchester County Health Department. Our youth organized a “ Clear the Air” campaign that addressed the prevention and reduction of vaping and tobacco use. The day included an educational course, catered lunch, and arts and crafts.
